As the Human Resources Associate at Crescent Electric, you will perform HR-related duties on a professional level at Lowe Electric, a division of Crescent. In this role, you will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: payroll, benefits administration, training, and policy implementation.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Administer payroll for Lowe Electric, a subsidiary of Crescent Electric.
Provide support to supervisors for timeclock procedures and approving timesheets.
Maintain the human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
Assist with various human resource plans and procedures for employees.
Support benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, online administration, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
Assist with benefits enrollments and communications. Actively participates in each renewal process.
Assist with new hire orientation and the entire onboarding process.
Implement and reinforce training programs for different positions.
SKILLS:
Individual must possess strong, comprehensive computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook). Must have ability to work quickly and accurately under time constraints and against deadlines.
Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 2 years payroll processing experience required.
